While legal fees are expensive, the price for not getting the legal assistance you need can be much greater. This is particularly important for start-ups and privately held companies who must keep to a tight budget, but who are most at risk and in need of legal assistance.

At Chester/Associates, we understand these concerns, since we are entrepreneurs, ourselves. As such, a primary goal of Chester/Associates is to ensure that legal services are affordable for the businesses who need them.

For one thing, our hourly rates are generally 20% - 50% lower than those charged by larger firms offering similar services. Although the exact cost of a project is often difficult to estimate, in most cases, we can give you a budget in advance for what to expect.

Also, for certain types of work, such as filing trademark and copyright registration applications or forming LLCs, Corporations, and other legal entities, we can handle many of these matters on a "Flat Fee" basis.

Of course, Flat Fees arrangements are not appropriate in all instances. Where appropriate, Flat Fees allow companies to effectively budget for certain legal expenses.

The attached documents list some of the types of projects we handle on a Flat Fee basis, along with the typical costs associated with those projects.

Finally, for your convenience, we also accept the following major credit cards:

The aforementioned charts describe our standard charges for a number of specific projects based on a typical amount of work required. They are informational only, and are not intended as an offer or contract for services. For specific cases or inquiries, please contact us so we can provide a fee quotation. Our representation can only begin once a prospective client executes an engagement agreement that is accepted by the Firm, agrees to the "Firm's Client Services Policies," and tenders the retainer or other funds required by the Firm.
